About.

I really like that Luke takes a holistic and realistic approach to nutrition. He didn’t tell me to cut things from my diet, but explained easy ways I could improve my gut health and overall wellbeing, including things like mindful eating which I really liked. I recommend working with Luke if you’d like to understand gut health more and find simple ways to improve your wellbeing through nutrition and lifestyle.

Meet Luke

My name is Luke and I’m passionate about nutrition, science and wellness! I’m a Nutritionist, Plant-Based Cook, Yogi and Wellness Educator and I’m on a mission to help people like you achieve optimal health and well-being through my holistic, and individualised approach to healthcare and wellness.

My journey began when I was studying Psychology at university. I was deeply fascinated with the human mind and behaviour, but I always felt a pull to more deeply understand myself and the world which lead me to travelling. During this time, I learned about different cultures and their unique approaches to food, health and wellness. While in India I completed my yoga teacher training and deepened my knowledge and experience of the powerful relationship between physical movement, breath, and overall well-being.

I learned about the huge impact that nutrition can have on our health and our ability to prevent disease and it made me feel so sad knowing that this information is out there, but not always reaching the people who need it.

This lead me back to university to study nutrition science, where I gained a deep understanding of the latest research and practices in the field and I am constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and skills. I am particularly interested in gut health and the relationship between nutrition and mental health.

I understand that everyone is a unique individual and what works for one person, may not work for another. That’s why I believe in taking a personalised approach, working with you to understand your unique needs and goals. In my practice I combine my expertise in nutrition, psychology and yoga to create comprehensive and immersive nutrition and wellness plans to support optimum physical and mental health as well as creating sustainable positive habits that will last for a lifetime.

Through my science-based approach I cut through the confusion and dogma related to nutrition and help my clients to make informed and confident decisions on how they fuel their bodies.

I devote my time each week to producing educational and inspirational content to support my online community in living a conscious and healthy lifestyle. I also write a regular column in the Aotearoa Vegan Magazine.

Check out my podcast or blog for free resources to help you get started as well as my online course. I also offer one-on-one sessions if you need some more direct support.

I am excited to be a part of your journey towards optimal health and well-being. Let’s work together to achieve your health goals and feel your best!
