This is one of my favourite smoothies that I have almost every day, it’s a great source of healthy omega 3 fats, protein, antioxidants, polyphenols and fibre to support your mood and mental health, gut and cardiovascular health and promote healthy hormone levels – as well as being a delicious way to start your day

Summer Berry Smoothie Bowl
A delicious, nutritious and healthy way to start your day
Equipment
- 1 Blender
Ingredients
Smoothie
- 2-3 Bananas Depending on how hungry you are
- 1 tbsp Flax Seeds
- 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
- 1 Pinch Cinnamon
- 1 Splash High Protein Soy Milk / Plant Based Milk of Choice / Water
Toppings
- 2 Tbsp Granola
- 1 Tbsp Cacao Nibs
- 1 Tbsp Maca Nibs
- Fresh Fruit and other toppings to your liking
Instructions
- Blend ingredients in a blender, if you have a high speed one like a vitamix you will need less water and can get a thicker consistency or if you’re using something like a NutriBullet you may need to use more water to get it to blend properlyTop with some granola, cacao nibs, maca nibs, some seasonal fresh fruit, and to be a bit fancy a bit of coconut yogurt garnished with mint – or add anything else that you like I hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
Notes
I also used to put greens in my berry smoothies, but as my partner showed me berry smoothies do taste better without – you may want to add greens, and I’m totally in support of the benefits of consuming lots of greens, but it definitely tastes better without them – for me they’re just reserved for green smoothies 😂🤙🏼
